Meet the Artist
Kathleen LaCamera, journalist & hospital chaplain, PictureWise Productions
“I’m delighted to contribute my modest creation, which I call “Elegant Owl”, to this most worthwhile auction. In both my work as a hospital chaplain and a journalist I have encountered people and their families who are living with cancer. It is so easy to feel overwhelmed and impotent in the face of such a difficult and challenging illness. But over and over again these people have inspired me with their heroism, humor, hope and generosity of spirit. With them in mind, I created Elegant Owl as a tribute to their wisdom, sense of humor and beauty.”
