“I agreed to participate for several reasons. First, my friend, Joni Goheen, who conceived the Bra Art project, asked. Second, there are many people in my life, including my eldest sister, who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Anything I can do to raise awareness and/or money—even decorate a bra—makes me feel like I’m doing something to help. Finally, I am the director of photography for 9NEWS. Every year you will find me at the end of the Race for the Cure taking pictures, shooting live shots and celebrating life. I am inspired and awed by the racers and walkers who participate in the race. They make me a better person and put life in its proper perspective. This is just one more way for me to stay involved with the Komen Foundation. God bless and stay strong. Enjoy the “Boob Tube.”
